Malvern Star, is a bicycle brand which was founded in 1902. This kangaroo campaign has been going strong for over a decade now. Originally, it was envisaged as an outdoor  billboard campaign in major cities, with the roo on a bike providing a surprising, humorous and memorable counterpoint to the clutter of The Big Smoke. Indeed the campaign has been so successful, it has been reprinted repeatedly as a postcard for sale in tourist spots around Australia. An inventive idea, a client who understood the importance of cutting through the clutter, and a win-win.  Talk about a marathon idea with legs!
